The parking lot behind the library will not be available Friday, July 20 from 6am until approximately 12noon.  There is an accessible entrance into the library and an accessible parking spot on St. Andrew Street.

Culture Days

Culture Days is an annual event that brings communities across Canada together to share in free activities and performances.
This year, we are celebrating Culture Days in a whole new way with our first ever Comic Con!

Calling all superhero fans, anime addicts, sci-fi lovers and comic book enthusiasts! On Friday September 29th and Saturday September 30th, we will be exploring all things comic related. Dress up in costume as your favourite character and join us for plenty of fun.

Calling all Fan Artists!

We are currently soliciting fan art for the month of September to be displayed for Comic Con and we need your help! Whether you are a fan of DC, Marvel, Harry Potter or Sailor Moon, works of art from all fandoms are welcome! Fan art will be displayed all over the library to celebrate our first Comic Con event. 

To participate, drop off your painting, sketches and illustrations to the library between September 7th - 28th at the attention of Robyn Godfrey, Outreach and Collections Librarian. Please include your name and contact information so your art can be returned to you after the event.
