Join us for a family drop-in hour every Saturday morning. This family-oriented program lets families explore, make and create together. Each week will feature a different STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) theme highlighting maker equipment and various projects.  

This program is held in the auditorium. No registration required. All ages welcome!

Local Author Readings

Meet local authors Lisa Hutchinson and James Colbeck! At 10:30am Lisa will talk and read from her books Pieces of Us and Iron Annie and the Long Journey; at 11:30 James Colbeck presents Flapper Goldenshoes, a story of a ski-jumping penguin!

This program does not require registration and will take place in the Auditorium.

Daddy Daughter Hair Factory v. 3

Celebrate Father's Day in a whole new way! Register to learn how to create hair dos for your daughter at Daddy Daughter Hair Factory. It's more about the bonding than the braiding!

Free to attend and supplies are included. Daughters must be ages 4+.

Loop Family Expo

Join us at the Loop Family Expo on Saturday, May 12th at the Stratford Rotary Complex. Visit the SPL's Story Corner for storytelling at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm. 

The Loop Family Expo is a one-day family resource event.  Discover more about programs, products and services offered locally in our community. The Expo will run from 10am to 3pm.  Admission is free and there are activities all day long!

Story Starters

This exciting early literacy program features early learning centres with activities to help children familiarize themselves with stories through play, talking, singing, listening and reading. Free drop in program, no registration required! This program is held in the auditorium on Thursday mornings from 10:30-11:30am

Baby Steps

An hour long program for infants and caregivers. This program includes a play time before story time giving families a chance to socialize and interact with one another.  Songs, stories, fingerplays, bounces and play!  This free, drop-in program does not require registration.
