Summer Storytimes!

Join Us!

This summer, our programs will be... a little different! We are going virtual!

Whale of a Tale

Looking for ways to make learning to read a fun and engaging experience for your child? Our Monday evening program is full of fun stories, songs, activities, and maybe a puppet or two.  What is for sure - you will all have a lot of fun!

Mondays | 6:30pm | Facebook Live

To watch live storytime programs:

  • Like the Stratford Public Library on Facebook.
  • Visit the Stratford Public Library's Facebook page Mondays at 6:30pm all summer long
  • Choose “LIVE” on the left-hand navigation list (there will be a red dot to the right of the word “LIVE” indicating that storytime is in session)
  • Enjoy!

Paws 4 Reading

The Paws 4 Read program gives kids the chance to build their confidence by reading to a dog—they're excellent listeners!  And this summer, we are offering this popular program - virtually!

Join Trish and our furry friends from St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs for (Virtual) Paws 4 Reading through Zoom. Participants will register for a 15-20 minute session

Sessions are available:

Please register for each session by emailing Trish: Space is limited.

Upon registering, you will receive an access code to the Zoom meeting. To help ensure safety for all participants in Zoom we ask that you do not share login information with others. Please direct others to us for registration. Families are encouraged to join early.  There will be a virtual waiting room until your four-legged friend is ready for a story.
